We're Tarush — a small business based in Mississauga, Ontario.

Tarush was started in 2024 by Sri, right here in Mississauga. It began with a simple frustration: throwing away plastic sponges every couple of weeks, knowing each one would sit in a landfill for centuries after a few weeks of use. That one small annoyance turned into a search for something better — and eventually, into Tarush.

Today we offer two product lines: natural kitchen sponges and neem wood hair combs. Our neem wood combs are sourced from India, where neem has been used in traditional hair and scalp care for generations. Our kitchen sponges are made in China to our specifications, using plant-based materials designed to break down instead of sitting in a landfill.

Every order is packed and shipped from right here in Ontario, so when you order from Tarush, you're ordering from a small Canadian business — not a warehouse on the other side of the world.

We're still small, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. But we care about getting the details right: honest sourcing, products that actually work, and a business we're proud to put our name on.
